What We Offer

Home Care

Whether you require assistance for as little as one hour a day, or around the clock care for 24 hours a day – our home support workers are trained to manage all of your needs. Clients and their families can be assured of quality home care, personal care, constant companionship, home support and supervision.

Nursing

Provincial Homecare has both Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses on staff at all times. Therefore, whenever medical attention is required, our nurses come to you. Our nursing staff is responsible for completing assessments, training workers and delegating medical functions, ensuring clients receive only the highest quality of care.

Personal Care

We take the basic activities in life for granted until we are unable to perform them ourselves. Some elderly clients require assistance with day-to-day activities of living, such as getting in and out of bed, dressing, bathing, grooming and toileting. Our home support workers realize and respect that having someone come into your home to assist with these private and personal tasks can be very difficult. Therefore, our workers are dedicated to providing this type of care discreetly and respectfully.

Respite Care

Taking care of a family member is one of the hardest and most stressful jobs in the world. Our caregivers are trained to care for, or assist with the needs of your loved one when you need to take a break or have other responsibilities to tend to. We are dedicated to providing relief for as long as necessary, whether it be a few hours, days, weeks or years.

Child Care

As much as we would like to always be there for our children, it’s not always easy. Whether it be daycare, babysitting or parent coaching, our Child Care service can provide professional help with infants, young or disabled children on a moments notice.

Home Support

As we age, daily tasks at home can often become challenging. Our home care workers will give you peace of mind by taking care of all your household needs. We help with routine tasks such as cooking, cleaning, dishwashing, laundry and other housekeeping duties that allow you to remain independent in your home.

Companionship

People who live alone can often feel lonely and isolated, which can negatively impact their quality of life. Our home health care workers can help by providing companionship when their family can’t be there. For our clients who like being on the move such as walking, shopping, or going to the movies, we have companions to accompany them on their outings. For those who prefer to stay closer to home, our companions can talk over coffee, play games or just be a friend.

Supervision

Our home based supervisors can assist and/or instruct an individual in maintaining a safe environment in the absence of the primary caretaker. This includes medication reminders, escorting a client to appointments, recreational activities, as well as supervising a client during daily activities such as eating, dressing, personal hygiene, laundry and simple household chores. We then report any changes in the client’s needs or condition.
